Key Responsibilities of the Role

As a QAQC Inspector at Ali & Sons, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks to maintain impeccable quality standards. Your key duties will include:

  • Material Verification: Inspecting and verifying all incoming materials, maintaining full traceability, and ensuring they meet all project and purchase specifications.
  • Fabrication Oversight: Monitoring the quality of fabrication work through stage-wise inspections. You will also ensure that Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) are available and that welders are properly trained and aware of quality requirements.
  • Testing Coordination: Organizing and coordinating all Destructive Testing (DT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes, as well as inspections for blasting and painting activities.
  • Documentation Support: Assisting the QC/Welding Engineer with the qualification of WPS, PQR, and WPQR. You will also help prepare inspection test packages and final documentation for project handover.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for customers, third-party inspectors, and surveyors, all while strictly adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
